businesses on human resources issues.
He is nationally
certified in several disciplines, and is a frequent lecturer at national conferences. Jim is
certified to use several leadership development instruments and has been
involved in such initiatives for companies throughout the world.
Jim is an author and editor of several books and articles on leadership and management issues and is a member of the Alliance for Strategic Leadership, The Worldwide Associaton of Business coaches, The Institute of Executive Development and the International Coach Federation.

About Kenneth Collins

Kenneth is practice leader for EAP and Behavioral Health Care Consulting services.
Kenneth Collins began working with EAPs as an external EAP consultant in 1981. In 1985, he joined the staff of the Chevron Corporation EAP and was promoted to manager in 1989. While at Chevron, he developed an audit protocol to review cases handled by the nine-member EAP staff, providing services to a population of 35,000 employees. Following Chevron, he worked for two years as Vice President for Product Development at Value Behavioral Health. This experience provided him with an insider's perspective on EAP vendor operations.
As a consultant, he has conducted single EAP audits of vendors serving Monsanto, Pharmacia, Merck and International Truck & Engine and has performed multiple EAP audits for Bayer and PG&E. He has performed industry specific benchmarking studies for Bayer, Johnson & Johnson and PG&E. In 1999, he conducted his own benchmarking research comparing EAP structure and utilization patterns and has authored articles on EAP benchmarking published by Behavioral Health Management magazine and EAP Digest. He is the author of the chapter on drug testing in The Employee Assistance Handbook. Over the years, he has held a variety of positions in the Employee Assistance Professionals Association, the Employee Assistance Roundtable and the Society for Human Resource Management.

worldwide. His 28 years of corporate experience in strategic
planning, financial analysis and leadership development
have included work with IBM, Honeywell, MCI, Roche Laboratories,
Chase Manhattan Bank, and Time Warner. He is an adjunct
professor of economics and finance at Fairleigh Dickinson
University and has received several "Excellence in
Teaching" awards from the University's Executive
MBA Program.
